Eddytec, a women-led deep tech startup co-founded by CEO Alina Chanaewa, has won the Women TechEU grant. This €75k funding will help validate their business model and accelerate their go-to-market strategy. Eddytec’s technology aims to revolutionize maintenance and quality control processes for aircraft components, making them faster, easier, and more cost-effective.

Eddytec, a spin-out from two Amsterdam universities, has developed a defect detection solution for carbon composites that is 10 times faster than current methods. This innovation can reduce testing costs in the aerospace sector by over 25%, addressing inefficiencies that often exceed €100k.

The company, originating from the Institute of Physics at the University of Amsterdam, recently also secured. Eddytec’s technology aims to revolutionize maintenance and quality control processes for aircraft components, making them faster, easier, and more cost-effective.
